rforker
I was listening to a mp3 track that has a spike in it so I immediately wanted to edit it with WavePad. (which I have done many, many times before) I have never had this happen before, but it only loads 1:52 of the 4:16 minute song and then "lines out". Tried numerous times to reload it with the same results each time and it loads both the file before it and after it with no problems. The song plays fine in WMP, VLC, Winamp and Quintessetial. Even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled, it's not the program because I have it on two machines and it is doing the same thing on both. (just tried in case) It has to be something with the file but I can't figure out why the file will play with no problems and then not entirely load in WavePad. (and the spike is not at 1:52, it's like at 2 or 3 something so that is not it either) Any ideas/thoughts appreciated. Thanks

Thanks There is a thread on weirdness/anomalies nobody reads tho. try this; go to ; tools options audio processing clik "use this specified folder" then name your own folder and drive [ example - D:\audio\wavepad-working-folder ] clik ok
rforker
Thanks for the reply. > There is a thread on weirdness/anomalies Will look for that, must have missed it. Tried the other idea before even posting on here after reading through the support page but it didn't make any difference, still didn't load it all.
