Guest Mayer
I have managed to download and install express talk very easily. The interface is very clear and easy to use. I managed configuring it in a matter of seconds, and it seemed to pick up my line no problem. However it doesn't manage making any calls. Any number I try dialing is initiated, but after a few seconds I get a message: Error returned: Forbidden. I wonder if the problem is the codec. My provider uses G729. I couldn't find this one in the list of suported codecs in the help-file. Does the software suport this codec, and if it does, how do you configure it? Thanks. Guest Oleksiy
Please add G723.1 and G729 to new version. May be as plugin? Why don't use dll from MS Messager system calls or other. Please try to do compact/light code like on assembler, ready to run without installer. Thank you.
Guest fred
I heard that G729 is licensed, meaning that someone needs to pay $$$ for the usage of G729. This further means that the end user needs to be prepared to pay for it..... I have a slow 256kbps/64kbps ADSL line, and hence G729 would be desireable... Giant
I wonder if the problem is the codec. My provider uses G729. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I fixed my setup by switching to XTEN temporarily while NCH gets g729 sorted. Cheers Giant
