MP3 settings Where are They ?

I edited an MP3 song which had a bit rate of 192 and when I saved it , it came back as 128-- I just reduced the beginning of the song.

 

Can I set the bit rate for everything at 192 or at least leave it at what it was before editing ?

Go to FILE

 

then

 

SAVE FILE AS: wav, mp3,ogg, etc etc

 

then

 

choose your poison [ 256-128-64-etc ]

 

anything saved after that by cliking the save button, will save at the last known rate
