kennywally Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 ok, then what did you use to create the mp3's? what I'm getting at is, the header bar in the audio, only seen with a text editor in the audio file, is primarily the culprit in misreading file size. try opening your file [ just one of them ] to see the info. [[ actually, make a copy of the file to experiment with ]] be patient, it takes a while to open. the info in notepad will be divided up into two sections and a fairly big space between them the header bar will be readable, the other section where the music/audio is, will be code/gibberish. once it's open, see if you can identify anything that looks like it don't belong there. for me, I'd remove whatever didn't look right, save it, then see if it'll play. I know it's not precise, but that's the best I can do in that area. If you're not comfortable with playing around with that and want a better answer then maybe check out some "mp3 tag editor" forums for more exacting info....
