activex111
Hi, We are planning to use VRS to record customer calls on single analog line. First we tried using a voice modem but the VRS software kept giving us an error "Recording device could not start". The modem box does say that it is Voice modem. Not sure what the problem is here. Later we tried using a phone adapter plugged in the mic in sound card. This worked but we have two issues - The voice on other end is barely audible. The voice on our end is fine. Are there any settings or something that can be tweaked to offset this problem? - When we setup to record calls in MP3 format, we can see that the wav file is generated, then the sofwtare log says processing file and deletes the wav file without creating any mp3 file. has anyone come across similar situation? Has anyone seen quality difference in using voice modem vs. phone adapter? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks
activex111
looks like there is very little activity in these forums. very few threads get any reply. We have another issue. when VRS is set to run in tray icon and calls are set to record automatically, it does not record the calls till we open the application. We thought that the application should record even when running as tray icon. the call volume level threshold ialready at -12db, which should pickup the voice pretty well. can someone please let us know what are we missing here? thanks Hi,We are planning to use VRS to record customer calls on single analog line. telesell
Did you get your problem fixed? What did you did to solve it? I am curios since I am about to buy one of the adapters with software. Best Regards Victor Puerto Rico
