All of a sudden my music slowed down!!!

Hey,

 

I was working on cutting down some music and all of a sudden on a play back it was playing real slow. I closed out the program and reopened and every song I open on there is playing extremely slow.... can you help? I can play the music on any other player and it plays normally....

Look in the Control menu within WavePad, make sure that the "Play Normal Speed" option is selected. Alternatively, just press F10.

I had this same problem as I was recording a funny message someone left me on my cell phone -- now I know why. The play normal worked to fix it.

I'm having the same problem, the program seems to be stuck on the Play Fast setting, and I cannot get it to play a song normal. When I load an mp3, it automatically plays it fast, and when I tried to change it to play normal, it still plays it fast.

I also had the CHIPMUNK high speed sound for a while too.

 

I fixed it by renaming the working folder, from the C drive to one in the D drive

 

I haven't had a problem since!
