Audio clip vertical zoom, the amplitude

How to increase the audio wave signal for the amplitude levels so I can see the finer edges of the signal. So not the horizontal zoom but the vertical zoom.

This will depend upon the version and what features were installed by default.

In the release here there are 3 dots at the bottom-left of each audio track.  Pull down to expand the track vertically.

The white bar on the division between video and audio tracks  can also be dragged, which may expand the audio thumbs.

In other releases there may be a vertical slider in lieu of the dots.

And right-click at the left of the track for an expand option that may increase the vertical size over that of simply clicking on the caret at the far left.
