need a helpin hand - u see i'm sorta confused as to how to divid a file into seperate tracks - so as to have a burned disc afterwards with evenly spaced tracks - mind u

i do not require anything too fancy all i need is an actual track slot no silence in between

- for example i have a voice recorded file that is about 1 hour long and i need to divide it into 10 minute tracks without pauses or silence - so that when i run a burned disc in my car cd player it will show up via surfable track slots

i hope i'm clear in what im saying - yer help is much appreciated

Hi, there is no automatic way to split file in WavePad. We will take it into consideration in future releases.

However, you can do it manually by locate the position where you want to split, then select Edit->Split into two at this point.

Just did more than 18 hrs of talks. Divided MP3 files up to 150MB in size into pieces only 20 or 30 minutes each. Used editor. Loaded file into editor. Chose regions by moving the pointer along the wave until I found the point of disection and saved regions as smaller mp3 files. This program worked really great!
