greensathome
Whenever I uninstall WavePad, it automatically DELETES ALL MY WAV FILES from the working folder that I had specified in the program ("C:\Data\Wavs\"). Is this by design or what can I do to keep it from deleting my files? I cannot get them back because they are not in the Recycle Bin. I also had many other very important .wav recordings of my children in this folder and they too are gone. PLEASE HELP!!!
Guest nchto
The audio working folder is for temporary working files. You should store your final audio in an appropriate non-temporary folder. WavePad does not deliberately delete all your recorded files when it is uninstalled, and I'm actually insulted that you think we would do such a thing. Try using Recuva recover the deleted files, I believe Vista also has a file recovery feature.
