ngoel
I Just Purchased Switch, and it crashes on Linux Centos/Wine, when converting a .dss file to a .wav file. Everything looked okay except that before the purchase it was giving me "need to purchase window" when I choose conversion, and now it is just plain crashing. ngoel
I upgrased the SW to 1.29 and it is still crashing. Does anybody have a clue how solve this problem?
Guest nchto
Switch is going to be looking for a dss32 component which can be downloaded from www.nch.com.au/components/. It's typically installed in C:\Program Files\NCH Swift Sound\Components\dss32\. Maybe try copying the .dll into the same directory as Switch? I'm not sure exactly what Wine needs to work right. cbalmforth
I got Switch to work on my Ubuntu 7.10 installation under Crossover Office, but it would not convert dss files even after downloading the dss32.dll file. The solution was to copy the file msvcr80.dll from a Windows installation and put it into my Switch program folder.
