buddbrother
I am wondering about the computer requirements per current call in IVM. In each line you add, you can set how many active calls there can be at the same time (1-200). Does anyone know how much RAM and/or processor capability there should be per call? Thanks! Guest nchto
This generally depends on your VoIP provider, and if they allow you to have simultaneous calls. As for the hardware requirements, a modern day computer would work fine. We cannot give specifics because it does vary substantially between different setups. buddbrother
Thanks for your reply! Any idea as to what settings impact this? I would guess that playing wavs and what databases you were accessing in each call would make a difference. Thanks!
Guest nchto
Yeah, playing several different wav files simultaneously would be limited by your harddisk speed, also if you're running other cpu intensive programs it would also slow things down. The best option is to test your system to its extremes to be certain that it's capable of handling the load you're after.
