Audio file disappered when trying to save...

So, I am working with a group of folks on a project. We used WAVEPAD to record a phone conversation which was about 2hours and 5 minutes. Playback was fine. HOWEVER, when we tried to SAVE the file, it just simply disappeared. We can't seem to find any trace of it in the temp directories or anything. Does anyone have ANY idea where it may have gone, or if we will be able to retrieve it?

if you think the file might somehow have been deleted by accident,try scanning the drive with this free program and hopefully you'll be able to get it back:
