Data CD burning fails everytime

I downloaded the free version of Expressburn last night. I open the program...click on Data CD...add the files I want burned onto the CD.....THEN...when I click BURN CD.... I ALWAYS get this error code....Expressburn has caused a problem in <unknown>. Expressburn wil now close.

The program immediatley closes and I have to start all over only to have the same thing happen again.

 

This morning I uninstalled and reinstalled thinking that may fix the problem but...the exact thing happens.

 

I am using ME 2000.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
