HelenS
This is probably very simple - how can one of my client's stop the NCH window from appearing every time he opens his computer? Helen
Guest nchto
Most of our applications have an option in the settings window to enable/disable this. The current release of Express Dictate unfortunately doesn't have this yet, but it should be added in the next release.
HelenS
Thanks nchto. Can you tell me when the next release will be as this really annoys my client and he won't be happy when I tell him there's nothing we can do about it. Cheers, Helen
Guest nchto
Are you certain that it is Express Dictate which is starting up? I checked our test system here and it wasn't set to startup by default. If it is one of our other programs then you can tell it no to start via that option I described earlier. For a solution: have a look at your start menu startup items, and if you're comfortable with the Windows registry (regedit), have a look at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\.
