CarolynH
Hello, I am new to the transcribing world and I need some help to get started. I have a company who is going to give me work to do as soon as I pass a "test" that they give me. But I would like to practice on something to learn what to do and how to do it. The company required that I use Express Scribe so I have downloaded that and I just received my pedal in the mail today so I'm set to go but I have no idea what to do. Could someone help me by giving me an idea how and where to start? I know medical terminology and I know how to type, I just need to figure out how to work this software and run the pedal. HELP! Thanks in advance, CarolynH
Guest nchto
Get a sample file from somewhere and load this into Express Scribe. Follow the foot pedal setup guide to install and configure your pedal: www.nch.com.au/hardware/setup/pedals.html. Now you can use the pedal to play/pause/rewind/fastforward the audio in Express Scribe!
