Infinity VEC USB pedal stopped working

I had an Infinity VEC USB pedal and it just stopped working a couple days ago. I noticed when I turned on Express Scribe and it said it did not detect any pedal. I have tried reinstalling Express Scribe, reinstalling the VEC USB drivers, changing the USB port the pedal uses, and even bought a new pedal and tried all the same to no avail. Anyone know if there is anything I can do?

Edit - I got the no pedal / drivers detected error message when going to settings > control > port set to VEC pedals USB, and foot pedal control setup wizard, even though my computer recognized it. Now a couple days later, it works again without my having done anything since, though I am still at a loss as to what caused this to happen in the first place.

There might be a cable slightly loose in your pedal or perhaps it was just a Windows Update which broke, then fixed your problem.
