Playback speed using foot pedal

I am new to using Express Scribe. I have an Infinity foot pedal. I see on the main Express Scribe window how to control the speed of the playback. When I press the center pedal on my foot control I get the speed I want. But as soon as I stop and restart the dictation it is much faster and I can't make it out. If I hit the F10 it goes back to RealSpeed but how do I keep it at RealSpeed? I don't want the speed to change every time I stop and restart. I can't find anything in the manual on this. Have a look at the Playback and Control tabs in the Express Scribe window, play around with these settings until you're able to get something you are satisfied with. Try running the foot pedal control wizard first also.
