VRS license

I bough a license for VRS Recording System (Lite (1-3 channels)). according the specification i can record 3 hardware lines +10 virtual audio sources.

I am confuse about the meaning of hardware and virtual lines. Also a Voip line what type of line is?

If i am connected to one public telephone line, how many other lines can i use?

And finally, how setup the PSTN and SIP or VoIP to VRS?
