transferring an open reel tape

Hi everybody.

I got an open reel tape, presumably recorded in 3/ 3/4 (it states so, handwritten). I never transferred such sort of tapes into my computer by using the Wavepad. Anyway, I was planning to record the tape's sound as it comes into the laptop and then make the necessary speed adjustments. But I am at a loss at it. Below there is a link with just a few seconds of the (faulty) transfer (you´ll hear that the speed is crazy). If anybody can give me a clue on how to solve this, I´ll be more than happy to read you. Many thanks in advance. Best wishes. Martin

Hi there, could you perhaps elaborate on how you did this so far settings/steps-wise?

You can send us a support ticket for this one https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html
