denise1907 Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Have just connected foot pedals for first time via front USB port to my (relatively) new computer. Express scribe is all set up on computer and pedals work fine during welcome speech and during trial on set up wizard, but neither pedals nor hotkeys work when I am typing from dictation!! Dictation comes thru on media player so maybe that's the problem. Also icon for file is on express scibe window but nothing happens when I click on it. Maybe I am not doing the right thing to download it to my computer so pedals, hotkeys etc work??? BIG HELP PLEASE!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest nchto Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 You must play the dictation through Express Scribe if you wish for the foot pedals/hotkeys to work. Windows media player does not have these features. Ensure you install Express Scribe from www.nch.com.au/scribe and then load/open the dictation using this program.
