uhsomeguy Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 when i choose many mp3 files to open, it looks like wavepad is about to open it, then it doesn't open anything. but then other mp3s work fine. is there any restriction to what files u can edit with wavepad?
nchngoc Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 I think there may be something wrong with the file that you tried to open. Can you play it with Windows Media Player?

I have a handful of MP3's that will not open in WavePad, CoolEdit or Windows Media Player Classic, however they will play in Media Player 9.0 and are recognised as MP3 files. I think that they are of a diiferent CODEC, but I have not found an answer yet.
