dawnmariee Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 I just downloaded ver. 4.08 because I was hoping the newer version would have a solution to the sound distortion when you play the dictation at a faster speed. I haven't tried it out yet because with this lastest version I cannot seem to resize the main window. In the older version I was able to size the window to just a thin box that I could park at the top of my Word document without it obstructing my document. The smallest I can resize the main window now, however, is 4x7. Why can't I make it smaller like I was able to do in the version 4.01? (I'd like to be able to resize it to about 1x4 so it fits in the top right side of my Word document) Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.... Guest nchto Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 Yup, we've got a new version of Express Scribe coming out and *hopefully* will be on the site by the end of today! This new version allows you to fully resize it but also offers a new tiny control window with all the necessary buttons for full control over the program, which of course can be set to appear above all other programs.
