offline usage

Hello all

 

First, thanks for a great product. I've downloaded both Switch and WavePad and they rock.

 

Here's my problem: I want to use them on my non-internet connected computer, but every time I try something a little unusual they want to go online and download components.

 

How can I get hold of all of these optional components and set up Switch and WavePad installations that will never want to go online? I don't care about disc space on my non-connected computer, and I don't care about download size on my connected one. I don't want to do this with a trial-and-error approach, I want installations that Just Work.

All the components WavePad/Switch would use can be downloaded and installed directly from our Components page: www.nch.com.au/components.

It's a bit tedious downloading all those files separately, but I'll give it a shot and let you know.

Exactly, that is why we use the download-on-demand method

That worked for me, thank you kindly for the assistance.

 

I suppose you don't want to ship all those downloads with all your applications since there's a lot of overlap. But how about offering one big archive download of all the components, with just one click.
