Recorded Audio Only Plays from Left Speaker

Hi there. Audio that I record from videopad only plays through the left speaker.

I know this is a very common problem and there are existing threads, but I'm really not understanding what the solution is and I'm at my wits end.

There doesn't seem to be an option to change to "mono"

If anyone can help I'd be very happy.

What version is being used?  Test the latest beta.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

This can depend upon how the file was created.  Share it, and someone will check it out.  Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.  When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

To convert a single-channel file (likely the left channel) to center-channel mono, use Wavepad.  At the bottom of the window click the caret next to this ... image.png  Then choose MONO.

Save the file and substitute it for the original in Videopad.

Thank you so much for your response!

The version being used *was* VideoPad Professional v 6.10. But the system wouldn’t let me install the version in the link over a previous instalment.

I took a gamble and installed it anyway, and now my version isn’t “professional” any more. Will I have to buy it again? And now it says v 13.45!! Was I really that far out of date?! Golly that’s embarrassing.

Anyway, the solution is... fixed? I now here my voice recording in both ears. Erm... massive thank you!

I didnt expect that!

Should I buy it again?
