CarvedMetal
Hello, I searched via Bing's chatbot for a program to easily convert 2D images into 3D meshes, and MeshMagic came up. Looks like a useful program, but I see no way to import 2D images to convert them to 3D like the chatbot said. Is MeshMagic not the correct software for this? MakubX
Which file format are you trying to load into the program? As long as the format of the file is supported, the program should be able to edit/export the file into multiple available output formats.
CarvedMetal
I haven't tried to load anything as I don't even see a way to load a picture, like a jpeg for example. The chatbot said there would be an Import function in the File menu, but there's nothing there for that, or anywhere that I can see. Is there some other paid version that does this? I just got the free version.
MakubX
Sorry, but MeshMagic can only work on STL, 3DP, 3DS, 3MF, OBJ, and PLY files. You might need a different API for such a conversions. NCH Software is always interested in improving our existing programs and developing new programs. CarvedMetal
Thank you very much! I thought so. Looks like the Bing Chatbot was spouting nonsense...again.

No problem, do send us a suggestion for this as well. Would be very handy if made available.
