PSchnebelen
I cannot save audio as .mp3 Other formats that I have tested work fine: m4a, wav, & aac. When I "file/new" and "save as" mp3, a 1KB mp3 object is created. I have installed mp3el.exe I have several other audio programs on this machine: RealPlayer 10.5, Windows Media Player, RiverPast Audio Converter, iTunes. Is one of these getting in the way? TIA, Pam
Guest nchto
When you go File -> New, a new blank audio file is created. Saving this empty audio will of course produce a very small audio file. Have you tried saving a file that contains audio? What happens then? As the file was saved, it appears that you are able to save mp3 files. PSchnebelen
I have solved my problem. When I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, I noted that the new software did not ask me to install the add-on for mp3 objects. The mp3 piece was already there. Again, I uninstalled the software. Then, I deleted all of its references in the Registry. I reinstalled everything and now it works great. Alas, I do not know how I made a mess of it in the first place..... ~Pam
