First time problems

I am trying to copy music from a tape to a cd. I have conected my cable to the phones socket on my tape player and the blue socket on my sound card on the pc.

When i play the tape, there is no sound at all.

Any help - much appreciated.

How are you using WavePad in connection with this project? Exactly what are you doing here?

Hello - I am tryig to copy choir music frm an audio tape which I am playing on a Panasonic tape /radio/cd player.

I have connected my cable from the phone out socket to the blue socket on the computer.

I then load Wavepad and hit play on the tape player but then get no sound at all through the PC.

I am wondering if there is a problem with my sound card?

I have checked the volume control settings and mute is not ticked.

That's about all i can tell you.
