bonkeous
I use WavePad to create wav files from other audio files, which I then convert to a format playable as ringtones on my phone. The problem is, they always sound horrible. Either the speakers buzz or they sound too tinny/quiet/distorted, etc. If I purchase a rintone from my cell phone carrier, it sounds fine. Does anyone have any advice on creating a good-sounding ringtone? I've tried noise reduction, normalization, and a high pass filter, but I'm an audio idiot, and I'm basically grasping at straws and trying different combinations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, if it matters, I have a (Sprint) Samsung A900 phone, and convert the wav files to cqp files using Qualcomm's PureVoice Software. Thanks.
