Apparition
I have an interview on cassette and want to bring it into the 'digital age' . The file is VERY noisy and I want to scrub it, well without losing too much quality. Can anyone help me out, please?
Delta
You can try the following two functions together: 1 - Effects > Noise Reduction > Apply Audio Spectral Subtraction 2 - Remove Noise or Hiss (from the sidebar) I've found that these two together, in the above order, works fairly well for my language recordings. Note that you have to experiment with the settings to get the best tradeoff between Quality Loss vs. Noise I hope this helps. If anyone has found a better method, please let us all know. Cheers!
