Switch return value

I have switch running on a box i don't usu monitor. I want to have some sort of notification when it fails during conversion. Does switch have a return value if it does not execute correctly? or if it does execute correctly?

 

I am calling switch using the command line tool and a script.

The current issue is that Windows itself does not allow us to do this, because it does not allow communicatation between the Switch window and the command line prompt. You will find this is the same story with any Windows-based application.

 

We are currently investigating ways we can work around the Windows limitation.
