Using VEC USB Foot Pedal with Visual Basic Program

I have a group of transcriptionists who are using Express Scribe with the VEC USB Foot Pedals. Our doctors are Pathologists and want to use the foot pedals to dictate notes while in the Autopsy Suite. I've written a recording program for their use (It does about 50 other things, too) and I want to use the foot pedal to allow them to click on a "comment" field button and dictate a comment which I will attach to my database which I use for creating their Autopsy Report.

 

Does NCH have an OCX control or Software Developer's kit that I could use to "read" the keycodes coming in from the VEC USB Foot Pedal?
