addressed Cannot hear audio when editing video

I'm running v.11.22 and I can't hear any audio when I'm editing my videos.  Where can I go on my laptop to fix this?  I'm pretty sure it's not Videopad itself.

Sounds (excuse the pun) as if the Windows volume slider for Videopad is turned down or muted.  Launch Videopad.

Right-click on the 'speaker' icon at the bottom-right of the Windows screen and click on Open Volume Mixer.  In Windows 11 that looks like...

That was the second thing that I tried, right after checking the volume control in Videopad.

Update to this version.  Let us know.  What are the PC's specs:  CPU/GPU/RAM?

I downloaded the newer version recommended.  No difference.

PC specs?  CPU/GPU/Ram.

Right-click in the area to the left of the audio track and confirm that it isn't shown as muted   

Try this next.  Close Videopad.  Using Windows Explorer (file manager), delete all files in these folders...

"C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components"

"C:\Users\<account name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components"

Now reinstall Videopad.

Got it to work with the scrubbing function in the audio menu.  Thanks.

Glad it works.  But activating scrubbing shouldn't be necessary for normal audio.  It isn't here, using the current release.
