spfdmark1
I have a video that I'm trying to edit. It is one that has already been created (Yes, I have permission to edit it). The owner cannot find the project file. In the audio, there is talking as well as music. Is it possible to separate these into two separate audio tracks? I would like to keep the talking, but not the music.
borate
Without sophisticated means or a file that has discrete encoded tracks, it's doubtful that they can be separated.
spfdmark1
Found a site online that did this in about 10 seconds, and it was free. voiceremover.org

spfdmark1
It did a VERY nice job separating them. Worked very well. You are welcome. I bookmarked the page.
