HunterEdits
Yeah, pretty much. Lossless encoding is great, but the second I touch something, (add something) that needs encoding, the colorspace goes to hell somewhere, I do not know where. Here are real examples from my latest video. I can't publish this. Green color on a menu gets turned into blue. A bright green bag, brown jacket, skin tone turns into a dull green bag, gold jacket, with yellowish skin. There is no red left in the image. Red seems to get leached out of scenes badly. Here is the group on one page, this should help you compare better. https://imgur.com/a/I9TBjb2 Does not matter which codec I use. I can select input colorspace in x264 and it still happens. Lossless rendering, MAYBE not, not sure, but I have no use for gigantic files much bigger than the source material anyway. Help!! Version 11.01. EDIT Ok looks like it's much improved in 11.08. Still washed out as usual but I can work with that. I don't know why I didn't update first...
borate
Send untouched samples via private message, for analysis. No one else will see them. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
