KeithKKA
HI, I was able to take a snapshot of a sequence resulting to a png file. How can I save or export the image into a file (preferred as jpg)? Thanks.
borate
There's no option to save a snap as a PNG, but that file should work just as well as a JPG in most cases. It can easily be converted with any number of image viewers or conversion utilities.
KeithKKA
Thanks, borate. Sorry I misled you in my question.. I understand the file can be converted or used just like jpg. My problem is that it seems that there is no way I can save or copy the snapshot image out of Videopad? Maybe I am missing something (as I only use Videopad occasionally). My objective is to take snapshots from multiple videos, then use another tool to make up a composite image and load it back into Videopad and create a video sequence. Hope I have not further confused you re my ask. Thanks again for your exceptional support, as always.
borate
It is saved. Take a look in your Pictures folder, using Windows Explorer (the file manager).
KeithKKA
Oh yes.. Lo and Behold.. Found the file! So Videopad always saves any snapshot into the Pictures folder? Nice to know. I probably missed it in the Tutorial videos.. My apologies for a silly question. Really appreciate your prompt and precise replies. Thanks again. borate
There are no silly questions ... just a learning curve.😄 You can specify where you want the images saved - OPTIONS | DISK tab.
