Glitch Magnet
I recently reinstalled Win10 64 Pro after a crash, and then installed the latest version of VP. Before all this I was using an older version of VP with no problem. Now, some of the MP4 video files I import for editing render fine, while others the audio stutters and sounds like it's double speed. The only difference I can spot is that the audio on the problem files is 22kHz sampling rate AAC LC. 44.1kHz files seem to render fine. I tried installing the latest 64 bit version of VP but the problem remains.
borate
Do they stutter in preview, or after export? What version of VP is being used? Look at the left-bottom corner of the VP window. Let's have a look at one or two of the 22kHz files. That's the only way to get to the root of the issue. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
Glitch Magnet
They stutter in preview as well as after export. It's clearly rendering the audio improperly upon import. v 11.03.
borate
Upload and share so we can have a look and analyze the problem. Thanks.
Glitch Magnet
Thanks for your kind assistance. I've reverted to v 10.57 and it works fine. I will use this for now. FWIW, the "problem" audio files are actually 24kHz, not 22kHz, in case that matters. They import and render properly in v 10.57 but not 11.03 (32 or 64 bit).
