Avskedsfest
I have made highlights when my son plays floorball. I added a text picture and two songs. the output file, a mp4 file was ok, but when i upload to youtube it gets choppy, almost as if extremely few fps are used. Can anyone advice how i can fix this? I made another shorter video that looked ok. Here is a link to the file on youtube. https://youtu.be/D9cLopa_u-c This one is the same but in 720 quality https://youtu.be/2Y3x9d6_tQw
borate
Some pixelation is evident on both clips here. Share the project and someone will run tests. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
Avskedsfest
Thanks. Here you go. I put all files in one folder Yes I know that the original file is not perfect, some times it get "pixeled". But it is the choppy part I don't like. Take a look at the mp4, called "töjanan vs täby highlights". It looks ok, but in youtube I can hardly see the ball... https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18U9SzNRQg8WAgVl9rPDofDfjHWw5Vac8?usp=sharing
borate
While the camera looks good overall, very rapid movements result in pixelation. Don't spot 'jerkiness' per se. MediaInfo lists this as an Adobe Flash recording. Next shoot, try another format if available or perhaps a higher bitrate. Using the YouTube uploader for the exported VP mp4 might help. This doesn't seem to be a VP issue.
Avskedsfest
Did you check the youtube clip? It is really bad….
borate
No jerk or chop on your YT video or my direct upload from VP at 45fps Smart Max. Fluid motion throughout. Only pixelation on fast pans mars the action. Perhaps your stream feed is not optimal? Tried viewing on a system that uses a different 'pipe?' Avskedsfest
Borate Again, thanks for spending time helping me. I looked at the clip on your youtube channel. Looks similar to mine. But I still think that the quality is worse vs the file I created in VP. I don't see fluid motion And yes. the base quality is bad. I was filmed with an Ipad and broadcast via an app. I know... I have fiber and 250 megabit on my computer, so it should not be hindering me. I guess it just could be youtube limiting the quality somehow... Any idea if a different format than .mp4 should improve youtube quality?
borate
Both the original and YT display as smoothly to my eye, so it's unclear why you see choppiness or jerky motion. Pixelation, yes. Jerk and chop, no. You certainly can test other formats for YT - using their uploader.
