Mr./Ms Borate, you are a Godsend; you solved my problem. Yes, I unlinked an old audio connected with my video, and so freed up my video. Also, your tip about using "Alt" helped me stop the snapping of the track to previous position. The VP software instructed me to use "shift" when dragging the track. But you are right "Alt" is the right key to hold down while dragging the specific track. Thanks.
