Reverse or change clip speed

Can I change the speed of my videos or play them backwards?

Yes. This is easy to do with VideoPad.

1. Select the clip in the sequence
2. Open the Video Effects submenu by clicking the small triangle on the Video Effects button on the toolbar of the Home tab
3. Select Speed Change from the submenu
4. This opens the Enter New Clip Speed Percentage window
5. Change the speed by entering a new percentage
   • 100% position plays the clip at normal speed
   • 50% plays the clip at half speed
   • 200% plays the clip at double speed
6. Click Set at the bottom of the window to apply your changes

To play the clip backward, select the checkbox for the Play clip in reverse option.

Preview the changes that you made by clicking the Play button in the Sequence Preview window.
