Secondary / Tertiary Audio Track Quiet / Underwater sound

Hi, I am trying to overlay my voice onto 3rd and 4th tracks and the 3rd and 4th tracks are recording very quiet and like they are underwater.

Can anyone explain why this is happening. I cannot see a reason for it ?

In this case, make sure to have the volume all the way up for this specific track. You will see the volume slider located all the way to the left. Make sure it has good volume. Then, in regards of the "underwater" sound, click on the "FX" button located on the left side of the track and make sure you don't have any effect apply to this specific track. You can remove it from the list of options.
