Videopad wont open. Stuck on splashscreen. Windows thinks that the program is not responding.

Hello,

Wanted to report that after downloading and installing your Videopad just now - the program wont open. It seems to hang on the splash screen. Windows thinks its not responding (Win10 x64 v.2004).

Is there a fix for this?

This is the latest version.

Try right-clicking on the installer, then RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Uninstalled.
Downloaded the latest version from the Download Button on https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html
Reinstalled as admin. Stuck on splashscreen. Upon clicking on the splashscreen Windows prompts: Program Not Responding - Close/Wait.
Closed.
Right clicked on desktop icon - run as admin. Same result.

If REVO lists it, uninstall, including all registry entries.  Then try the install once again.

I uninstalled Videopad via iobit uninstaller which cleans up "leftovers" in the same way. Does Revo supposedly do something different?

Not familiar with 'iobit.'  Does Control Panel | PROGRAMS AND FEATURES list Videopad as being installed?  If so, try REVO.

There's a suspicion that a Windows setting may be preventing VP install - but what?
