exhausted
I've had VideoPad for a few years, and have never had an issue with it until recently. It stopped uploading any of my videos to YouTube one day, but gave me no reason for it other than some red text reading "failed." I tried re-uploading three times, before figuring I'd try to log out of my YouTube account through VideoPad and log back in. But when I tried doing that, it gave me a popup that said that VideoPad "may not be secure" and that I should "try a different browser." I attempted to log into my Google Drive account, but the same thing happened. I've been looking through the internet hoping to find something that would help, but unfortunately, I've found nothing. It's frustrating to upload the videos I make onto my computer, wait for it to finish, then upload them to YouTube, and then wait for that to finish. It's a whole lot more time consuming than it was before, and afterwards I have to go through and delete the video to make sure it doesn't keep up too much space. All-in-all, the whole process is exhausting. I was hoping I could find some advice here, because I've been looking for a solution for a week and a half to no changes. Thank you! borate
The developers are working on intermittent YouTube direct upload issues. Sometimes it succeeds, at others it does not. Seems to work better in the middle of the night. The alternative, though more time consuming, is to export in a YT-approved format, then use their uploader. A Google Drive upload was successful here, using VP beta version 8.28. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. If you test the beta, retain your old install file and registration info. File a report by clicking the chevron at the top-right of the Videopad interface.

And now Videopad won't allow me to export any videos in general. I've tried updating it, but it hasn't worked- it really only seems to make the issue worse. borate
Is this the unlicensed version, which may have limited export capability after a trial period? You mentioned updating. Did you try VP beta version 8.28? If the problem persists, install this version. Still no joy? Mention the version # (listed at the bottom-left of the interface) and describe exactly what happens when you attempt to export to a file. Two recent direct-to-YT uploads here succeeded. exhausted
No, this is definitely the licensed version; I know this as I went through the trial period about five years ago, and paid to continue using it. I cannot upload directly to YouTube, as Google will not allow me to log in through VideoPad. The second version seems to have worked for now. Thank you! borate
As noted earlier, direct YT upload is intermittent, though rejection of the Google log in hasn't been seen here. There should be no export refusal when using a licensed version.
