Memory leaking???

I 'm using WavePad v1.11 for trimming WAV files, then saving them into mp3 format at a low bitrate (16kbps). However, after closing one file and opening up the next WAV file to edit, I notice that my memory just keeps getting lower.

 

I have 1Gb of memory in my machine, about 700mb available when OS is loaded.

After editing and saving and closing 4 files, one after the other, I now have 157mb available. It doesn't seem to free up the memory it uses for each file.

 

Even after I close the program the memory still won't return.

 

Can anyone help me test this problem a bit more thoroughly so the good people at NCH have something a bit more solid to track down.

 

The software is fantastic by the way!
