Nathrexeio
It seems to randomly export at a slow speed with a few edits in a video sometimes it takes 2 minutes to export sometimes it takes an hour and i just keep re-editing the video untill it does it in 2 minutes but this doesn't always work and it should not change if my editing is basic
borate
What version are you running? Is this the version that created the project? What are your PC's specs: CPU, free space on C:\; GPU, RAM, etc.? Please share your project, so someone can check it out. Here's how...http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply Save Project. If the material is sensitive, send me the link in a personal message. Click the envelope above.

borate
4 GB RAM is usable, if marginal. 8+ would be better as video editing is resource intensive. One thing you might do prior to beginning a new project is click OPTIONS|DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Loading will be slow at first, but once the clips are cached a reload will be faster. Share your project, as detailed above, and someone will check out how it exports. You might also consider upgrading to the latest Windows version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.
