achu
Samsung vy1..vy4 formats are actually a kind of cosmetically modified G.723.1 (vy1 and vy2) and MS ADPCM @ 8000 and 12000 Hz (vy3 and vy4). They were developed by Korean Voiso Semiconductor company, whose contacts are unfortunately dead at the moment. There is a Samsung wav_converter.exe available on Samsung's website (look at VY-200 recorder software). To NCH team: could you incorporate vy* support in your future products? As I spent some time reversing them, I could some way help you there. --alexey chumakov
