incomplete avi import

I'm trying to import (old) .avi files. I don't remember with which software I saved it (in 2006).
VLC can read them, avidemux can't. characteristics by MediaInfo :

When I import a file in VideoPad, it is limited to the first 4min.

Please help! I've ~20 files like this I need to work on!

I just found that the files can be treated by canopus DV file converter : converted to MS DV (AVI2). they become fine for all softs.
