David D
I did 2 more projects in the last hour. Nothing different than before. The second one worked. The first one would not play on WMplayer. It stops in a couple of seconds, but once went about 5 seconds. I have not did any changes to the way I did the projects. I am wondering if it could be my media player? Any ideas? Should I be able to play them right after I export or is there a waiting time I should be doing? Thanks David
borate
Right after export. What was the export format and resolution? Please share your failed project, per the earlier linked instructions (Tips for Getting Help on this forum - sticky at the top of the page) and someone will take a look. David D
Where will I see this info. I do know I pick a mp4 if that is what you are asking. I suspect I'm using the default res. but not sure.
borate
Load your project onto the timeline. Click FILE|SAVE AS PORTABLE PROJECT (to a convenient folder on the PC) Upload the resultant folder or all its files to a free server, such as Microsoft OneDrive. http://onedrive.com. Create an account if you do not already have one. Once the file thumbnail shows a green check mark, right-click the file and click SHARE A ONEDRIVE LINK. Paste that link here. David D
Hey I put a mp4 on a zip drive and brought it to work and it plays fine. Seems like something with my windows media player. Any ideas? I did reinstall WMP last but didn't help. Sometimes it stops at the beginning of the vid and sometimes about halfway through. borate
Downloaded your file and played it with both Windows Media Player and MPC-HC. No problems with either. Apparently there is nothing wrong with the VP export.
David D
Any ideas on what I need to do?
borate
You could install the MPC player, which handles most file types https://mpc-hc.org/ The VLC player is also popular. http://tinyurl.com/y47dq4oj As for WMP issues, check into the Microsoft WMP forum. http://tinyurl.com/y3xc2q2k
