Enter numbers help

I want to be able to have the caller press extension numbers so they don't have to listen to the menus. Example: "If you know the extension number of the person you can enter it at anytime."

IVM is plugged into port 8 of our Panasonic PBX.

I can't figure out how you do this or even if this can be done with IVM. If it can be done, could someone let me know how so I can give it a try.
