Expresstalk can't connect to VRS

I have VRS and Expresstalk both installed on my local computer (win98SE) with the firewall turned off. I have successfully recorded using Expresstalk recording feature. Now I want to use the VRS to record Expresstalk calls using softphone only (no hardware phone).

 

I keep getting error in Expresstalk: "unable to connect to vrs recorder@localhost:4080"

 

I configured VRS with a new channel called "voip", source access code "1", using the default destination folder for recordings, port 4080.

 

I configured ExpressTalk to "link to VRS archive", source access code "1", localhost:4080.

 

I have restarted Expresstalk and VRS several times with no luck. Any suggestions?
