Peter Y.
Hi I create a project with one video file, two audio files. One audio file is sound of singer and the other is the background music such as piano etc. I export as DVD movie. I can play it on DVD player but I cannot select the audio channel because sometimes, I only want to listen the background music. For original DVD, I can select audio channels(left/right) when it is played. Who can give me some idea? Peter Y.
borate
Seems that this should be a function of the player itself, not the recording. In VP, a project was created that had audio strictly left (channel 1) and audio strictly right (channel 2). Three exports were made: an mp4 video file; a DVD data disk and a DVD movie disk, and each mirrored that VP layout. Opening any of those files with Windows Media Player (or other player), a single channel was isolated by right-clicking the speaker icon at the right-bottom of the screen and choosing PLAYBACK DEVICES, clicking SPEAKERS, LEVELS, BALANCE, then adjusting the balance to favor only the left or right channel. Most standalone DVD players don't have that capability, but the amplifiers through which they are played may.
